Anette K. Mortensen is a geologist at Reykjavík Energy. She has 12 years of experience working as a geologist in the geothermal sector, but the main areas of expertise include borehole geology, well log interpretation, geological modelling, and evaluation of geothermal fields including conceptual model development and planning of field development. Furthermore she is experienced in field monitoring, well testing and production management of high temperature geothermal fields. Anette has been involved in geothermal projects in Iceland as well as in international projects in countries like Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Chile, Turkey, Nicaragua and Dominica.
Anette has been a supervisor of numerous UNU Fellows, both in the 6-month training and for M.Sc studies and she has been teaching at various UNU-GTP and ICEIDA short courses in Africa, Central America and Europe.
